Tybee Island Lighthouse

We also found a lighthouse on Tybee Island. Have you ever climbed to the top of a lighthouse while carrying a two yr old?? I don't recommend it. But we survived and made it to the top and it was awesome! The boys were not afraid one bit and I wasn't nervous at all. David on the other hand was ready to immediately go back down. haha! The view was beautiful! They also restored the houses that the lighthouse keeper, his family and helpers lived in. Oh how things have changed.







Near the lighthouse they also had an Old War Fort. They had a lot of pictures and items from way back in the day. After that we stopped for ice cream on the way back to the house. Yummy!
