America's Birthday

On Saturday, Mike and Shannon had their annual Forth of July party at their house. Ben always puts on a good firework show at dusk, but this year, it was GREAT! There were not as many people there this year as last because of the late notice, but it was still a good turn out. Bryce played with N and N's cousin, K. We ate some hot dogs, talked to friends and then watch the wonderful firework display. Bryce did not like the fireworks. The entire time he was saying "all done, all done!!" over and over again. He had the tightest grip on me and had to be persuaded to look up at them. "Boom, boom, firework, boom, boom" he said afterward. Hopefully when we go to the show on Wednesday at the lake, he will like them better. We will see. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I can't think of a better way to celebrate the birth of America then with friends, family, and fireworks. Thanks Mike and Shannon!! And Ben too!!!!
