What a big boy

This weekend we went to a friend's party down at her grandpa's lake house. (we usually go there a lot during the summer for lake parties) David brought Bryce into the lake to play and swim. We decided to see if Bryce would get in an inner tube and float in that. He has a baby float thing that has a seat in it and it is impossible to fall out or go through the bottom, but he has never been in a tube. I thought for sure he wasn't going to like it and he would scream to get out because he would feel so insecure. Boy was I wrong! He was a little nervous at first, but never cried. David just stayed right next to him with his hand on it. Then he gave Bryce more space and he loved it! He was all on his own floating in the lake like a big boy. (Of course, David was always within arms length). I just can't believe how much he is growing up and how brave he is getting! What happened to my baby boy?
