Tidbit

Just some side notes of a couple new things Bryce has done this week.
First is that he has finally got past the button and understands (well as best as a 2 year old will) that there is a baby in mommy's belly. Before when David or I would say that there's a baby in there he would tell us "no, it's a button" talking about my belly button. Now he will come over and pull my shirt up and point saying "there's a baby" and kisses it all over!! The as he pulls my shirt back down he says "close it". He laughs every time he kisses it. I hope that love and compassion are still there when the baby is here taking away some of Bryce's attention. :)
The second is, well we all know that David doesn't have the cleanest of mouths. The other day, he must have said something b/c now every time Bryce drops something, throws a ball, or falls down he immediately says "oh shit!". Yes it is becoming a very well used phrase in my house. And of course he says it plain as day! So instead of making a big deal out of it, we just tell him, "no, it's oh man or oh no or oh gosh." I think he is getting better, but it will be when we are out in public and he drops his sippy cup next to an old lady that the phrase will haunt me. Kids and the things they say!!
