Lazy Five Ranch

For something a little bit different, we went to Lazy Five Ranch. It is a pretty cool place that is only about an hour away. It is a huge piece of property that has different kinds of animals just roam free. You can either take a horse draw wagon ride on a 3 mile trail through the property or you can drive your own car. As you go down the trail the animals come right up to you and you can feed them. It is really fun to get that close and personal to some animals you wouldn't normally be able to. Bryce has been there before, but it was a long time ago. Memphis and Jamie were new to the whole thing. I was a bit concerned that they would freak out when the animals got close, but they did really well. Before long they were all wanting to give out the food!

The giraffes are in a large caged in area, but their necks are so long that they can reach over and get the food from you.
