Grammy came to town

My mom came down to visit for a week in July. It is the first time she's been to our new house and she hasn't seen the boys since last October, so the visit was long over due!
The first weekend she was here, we drove to Greenville NC to see my aunt.

Me, my mom and aunt...

Aunt Jamie with the boys...

Heath with his Godmother and my Aunt Jamie...

One day we went to my aunt's friend's house to swim in the pool. Bryce actually went off the diving board! I tricked him the first time and he was very mad at me. But then he asked to go again. I couldn't believe it!

Grammy and Heath...

Bryce was also diving under the water from the stairs and swimming under water for about 8-10 feet all by himself. Another new thing for him! I am so proud of him for being such a big boy...

Bryce and Uncle Phill...

My aunt lives about an hour and a half away from the beach. We took the day and enjoyed the sun, sand and ocean. Bryce of course loved every minute of it. Heath, well, I am sad to say he hated it! He did not like a thing about it. If you tried to put him in the sand, his feet came straight up. He would cry if you even got close to putting him in the ocean. Once we put him on the blanket, we knew he wasn't going anywhere because he wasn't about to touch the sand. Poor guy! But we did have a lot of fun that day.

Aunt Jamie trying to get Heath to like it...

The only two times Heath stood in the sand for a brief three seconds before crying...

Bryce loving it...

Sitting on his blanket looking at the hot mamas...

Grammy trying...

Holding on for dear life...

Bryce...

Growing up we went to a lot of go cart tracks. So much fun! I never really thought about bring Bryce to one until my mom suggested it. So we took an afternoon and went to Concord Mills Mall and the NASCAR Park. He went on a little car ride first and then my mom took him on his first go cart ride. He loved it! Laughing and screaming the whole time!

We had a great time during her visit. Can't wait for another one!
