A wonderful event...

Tonight, a local Church was having a Family Fun Night at the park right up the street from us. Shannon told me about it and asked if Bryce and I wanted to go. So we decided it would be nice to see what it was all about. Wow! They put on a fun evening! We get there and they had a tent set up for you to register(they gave us bracelets so we were able to participate). Then you look around and there are 4 of those huge bounce houses, craft tables, balloon maker, bubble machines, obsticles course, hoola hoops, a firetruck, a band, hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks. There was probably more that we didn't see. And all of it was free!!! It was amazing that the church did all of this for just anyone to come and enjoy! Our church has an Italian Festival every spring, but it was nothing like this and you have to pay for things at ours. Everyone was just so nice and everyone was definitly enjoying themselves. The boys really liked it. Of course they danced to the band, played on the playground, went through the obsticles course, and we tried the firetruck. N loved it!! He went right in and took pictures, pretended he was on his way to save someones life! Bryce on the other hand, was petrified!! I don't know why he was so scared. He loves to point them out going down the street and he makes this cute firetruck noise. But he wanted nothing to do with it up close. So enjoy the cute, but sad pics below. :) At one point the after we walked away, they beeped the horn or something, it was really loud and it scared both boys to death!! It was so funny! After that, N didn't like it anymore. They also set off one of the hoses into the crowd to cool everyone off. The other kids just loved that! Bryce and N wouldn't go over there, they were mad about the horn. :)
We had a great time and it was all just on a whim.
