We are home...

As you saw on my previous post, we also moved this past weekend. So when we did come home on Wednesday, we had to pack up the house to be ready for the move on Saturday. Talk about a crazy week!! But we survived only with the help of friends and family. Without them, we would have never gotten everything done. Thanks guys!!
Not only did we have to pack and move, but Heath was having some issues with jaundice. So everyday from Thursday to Monday we had to bring him to the hospital or the Dr's office to have his blood drawn and tested to see if the levels had come back down. With Bryce, we were readmitted to the hospital less than 24 hours of us coming home because his levels got so bad. We just prayed that it wouldn't happen again with Heath. And luckily for us, on Monday, his levels finally dropped a couple of points.
So now everyone is on the right track, we are moved in, unpacked, and settled. Hopefully our new house won't take too long to be built. Ben is so nice for letting us stay with him during the building process, but we can't wait to be back in our own home.
Bryce has been great through the whole thing. Not only did his whole world change when Heath came, but he also had to deal with moving too. But he is being so good with all of it. He amazes me! I am sure that Uncle Ben is going to be "Bryced Out" by the time we move out. Everything Bryce does, he has to let Uncle Ben know about it and he is not quite about it either. Poor Ben...he is stuck with a lil buddy for awhile. :)
Bryce is so intrigued by the baby. He asks so many questions and he wants to help with everything! Luckily for us, he is old enough that he can help with a lot of it. I think his involvement is helping him adjust and to not be jealous of the baby. He wants to feed, hold, burp, and change him (we don't let him change him though), kiss and hug him all the time, rock him, get things for us, throw things away, pretty much anything. Which is great for us too because all of this is new to us having a toddler and a newborn. Luckily we have only had a couple breakdowns because of the baby, other than that, he's been great! He is a big help and such a great big brother!
Coming home...

So peaceful...

First bath (his belly button thing hadn't fallen off yet, so we had to give him a sponge bath)...

All clean and warm...

So cute (can you see the yellow tint from the jaundice?)...
