One month

Our newest addition is already 1 month old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by!
We went to the doctor yesterday for his 1 month check-up. He said everything looked great! Heath is up to 11 pounds 2 ounces and 21 3/4 inches long. That puts him in the 75% for weight and 50% for height. At his one week appt, 3 weeks ago, he weighed 7lb and 11oz! So instead of saying that Heath was fat, the doctor said it in a nice way of "he just eats more than average". I think we might need to start calling him "tank". :)
He is still eating a lot (obviously). He is staying awake longer between feedings, but he is awake for too long he lets us know he is not happy. The boy already has a temper. He is tracking with his eyes very well. Especially his big brother's voice, but maybe that's b/c Bryce is so loud. :) He has pretty good head control and does very well holding it up and looking around. When he is awake, not crying, I have seen a smile or two here lately. (and they are not followed by gas) That white blonde hair of his is slowly changing. We are pretty sure that he is going to have hair like his mommy, strawberry-blonde. Maybe even a bit redder. We will have to see.
So overall, our baby is doing great. We still look at him with amazement that he is ours. We are so happy to have been blessed with him.
