The Good Parts of the Weekend

As I said in the previous post...we went to Wilmington this past weekend to visit some of David's family.
With Heath being sick, we really didn't get to spend as much time with everyone as we would have liked. Nor did we have as much fun as we would have.
But all in all, it was just nice to see them and it was nice to have family around when you have a sick baby on your hands. They were all a huge help when we just needed some advise or reassurence that everything was going to be ok. And they were amazing with helping us with Bryce. Two of the times we were in the hospital, they kept him for us. That way he got to play and enjoy his time there. Uncle Jim and Aunt Sarah brought Bryce home to Charlotte for us because we left before everyone else...just in case we would have to go back to the hospital on the way home or in Charlotte.

Looking forward to the next trip...and it better be ER free!!

Saturday evening Uncle Dan and Aunt Sue made plans for us to all go out to their pier and have a picnic dinner. It was so nice! Nothing like beautiful views, good food and family! It would have been nice it the wind wasn't blowing so hard...it kind of got chilly! The boys loved watching the birds, boats and waves. It was a lot of fun...good plan Aunt Sue!
