Another milestone...sniff, sniff

Well, since there is a new baby on the way, we needed to start working on transitioning Bryce from the crib to the big boy bed. So tonight we put child locks on all of the drawers, anchored the dresser to the wall and made sure all of the light sockets had covers. Then we took the side off Bryce's crib and put up a toddler rail. He seemed pretty excited about it! But mommy worries that he will be getting up and out of bed at night and that he won't sleep as good. We will have to see. He did try to pull up on the rail a couple of times and he was quickly corrected telling him that he would fall and go boom if he did that. So hopefully that will deter him for a while. I just can't believe that my baby is old enough to start transitioning from the crib! Once he is out, that means that he is truly a big boy and not a baby anymore...I don't know how I will handle that.
