The cake!

One of my best friends, Mandy, came over the Thursday before the party to help me make Bryce's cake. I saw a pool themed cake in my parenting magazine and thought it looked really easy and cute. Well...Mandy and I never follow the examples when it comes to cake and we got a bit more creative. It took about 4 hours to finish (not including the mixing and actually baking of cake). We are out of our minds!! But it turned out really cute and we got a lot of compliments. Notice the details of the beach towels on the lounge chairs, the bathing suits on the teddy grahams, the cake on the picnic table, the slip and slide. Cute one time...never doing it again. :)
