This was the beginning of our long and busy weekend. On Saturday, we went with Mike, Shannon, Nolan, James, Jennifer and Devin to an apple orchard in South Carolina. It was really nice. They started us off under a tent where we were greeted by "Johnny Appleseed"...this poor man was in his overalls and a skunk hat and it was pretty hot out. He sang a song or two and then took everyone through a sunflower maze as we sung. Then we came back to our seats and he told us the story of Johnny Appleseed. After that he showed us how apple cider was made back in the day. Then everyone went to the wagon ride for a short ride on a trail. After that they got to go to the pumpkin patch and either pick a pumpkin or 5 apples. They had an area set up for kids to make their own scarecrow, but we didn't do that b/c we were already sneezing from the hay ride. And then to top it off, everyone got a free apple cider donut and a cup of fresh apple cider...both of which were VERY good! The boys played well together, but it was extremely hard to get a good pic of the three of them. Overall, it was a good day!!

We had a blast hanging out with you guys on Saturday! Devin had so much fun! Too bad we couldn't get a good picture of the three of them, there was just too much to look at rather than our cameras ;-) Hope to see you guys again soon!
