2nd Month

I just love this picture! You know he still sticks his lip out like that.

A couple of big things happened this month. My dad, my mom, and my step-dad all got to meet Bryce for the first time. They came down for his Baptism, which in itself is a big event. It was so heart-warming to see all of my parents meet him, hold him, and give him kisses all over. And for all of us, Bryce's Baptism was exciting. It meant a lot to me that he was able to wear the Christing gown that my gramma had made for me when I was Baptised. Things like that are priceless and beautiful. I hope that it can be worn again and again.

The other big event was Bryce's first Holiday...Halloween! If you know us at all, you know that we tend to make a big deal out of Halloween. We have annual parties and put a lot of thought into costumes. With the help of my friend, Mandy, we found a very funny costume for Bryce's first Halloween. I am sure that he will hate us when he is older for putting him in it, but hopefully he will laugh as well.

Shortly after that, he had his second holiday...Thanksgiving. We took him to West Virginia for the first time to meet some of David's family. And his grandma was able to meet her first Great-Grandson while we were there. She was so happy to hold him. David's cousin, Vincie, was also very excited about Bryce and was eager to hold and help with him.
