Happy 2nd Birthday!!

On Sunday Mike and Shannon had our nephew, N, a birthday party. I can't believe he is already 2 years old! Time has flown by! It was an Elmo themed party, which N is really into right now. So when he got up from his nap and went outside, he was thrilled to see all the Elmo decorations. Shannon watched the news the day before and saw how hot it was going to be outside, so she called everyone and told them to bring suits. They set up sprinklers, pools, and a slip and slide. The younger ones weren't really sure how to play on a slip and slide so the adults were picking up and throwing them down. Poor kids! But they really seemed to enjoy it. The bigger kids who knew how to do it also had a blast! N's birthday party was a hit!!

Then on Tuesday, Shannon had some kids over for an ice cream party. (Tuesday was N's real b-day). Again it was very hot out so she had pools set up for the kids. And of course...ice cream and kids always turns out to be a mess! Good thing we were outside. But they absolutely loved it!
